Accounting Officer - Luxembourg


  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and financial operations of a dedicated clients’ portfolio in accordance with the tax and legal requirements and those of the regulator or client/adviser
  • Comply with the rules of the internal administrative procedures in accordance with the requirements of the company and the regulator
  • Contribute to client retention


  • Assist with the bookkeeping of clients’ portfolio and answer to clients requests
  • Prepare the annual financial statements
  • Assist the team/client for the preparation of financial reporting and closing process
  • Prepare the VAT and Tax returns and computation of the tax provisions
  • Check, file and archive accounting and tax documents
  • Ensure the accuracy and exhaustiveness of clients' files in cooperation with Corporate Officers
  • Prepare bank instructions, execute invoices payments, monitor debtors
  • Execute and ensure timely delivery of quality services
  • Check and follow up on client satisfaction
  • Prepare and maintain documents and statements for the compliance files of clients
  • Inform external clients on the progress of tasks done


  • Education: Bachelor/BAC+3: Accountancy/Business Administration
  • Computer/program knowledge: Microsoft office, Exact, SAP
  • Technical knowledge/experience: Basic knowledge local GAAP
  • Company, product and market knowledge: Basic knowledge of SGG as an organisation (mission, vision, local structure)
  • Languages: ENG/FR (3nd language pre)
