Contract Lawyer/ Corporate Officer

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Draft and manage contracts and other legal documents while ensuring risk mitigation for SGG
  • Negotiate with international clients
  • Provide legal assistance and service to the onboarding team and Client Directors
  • Keep up to date on new laws and regulations potentially affecting the business
  • Keep record and maintain contract register
  • Review and implement any change that would need to be implemented in SGG agreements
  • You will be dealing with key issues representing SGG towards the clients with respect to liability and (gross) negligence issues in combination with our D&O and PI insurance, in addition to the legal requirements for the delivery of KYC information

Your Profile

  • We’re looking for passionate people, who wish to excel, both personally and for Clients
  • You take ownership and have a natural drive for results
  • You have a Masters degree in DUTCH (Corporate / Company ) Law
  • Theoretical knowledge of project management (roles and responsibilities) applied to client services
  • 2-4 years relevant legal experience as a lawyer in international environment (either in financial services environment or law firm, preferably in The Netherlands)
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch contract law, corporate law, AIFM Law
  • Proven experience with international oriented and demanding commercial, business development and regulatory environments
  • Your communication and interpersonal skills are excellent, both verbal and in writing in ENG and DUTCH (3rd language pre)
  • Capable of giving presentations and address and negotiate on all project related subjects in own area of expertise at internal and at client meetings
  • You have strong analytical skills and mature judgement
  • You’re Client focused, Organized and Accurate
